Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QR Code Studio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

QR Code Studio is a mobile application that allows users to create, manage, customize, and track dynamic QR codes. The Service includes both free and premium (Pro) features.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration

4. Free and Pro Plans

4.1 Free Plan

  • Limited to 5 QR code creations
  • Access to basic QR code types
  • Basic scan tracking

4.2 Pro Plan

  • Unlimited QR code creations
  • Access to all QR code types (including Menu, Multilink, Image, Video, Document)
  • Advanced scan tracking (email and SMS notifications)
  • Email collection feature
  • Priority support

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchases
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create and upload through the App, including QR codes, images, videos, and documents.

6.2 License

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to create QR codes that link to or contain:

  • Illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
  • Malware, phishing, or other malicious material
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Content promoting violence, hate speech, or discrimination

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. QR Code Functionality

  • Dynamic QR codes rely on our servers to redirect scans to your designated URL
  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We reserve the right to disable QR codes that violate these Terms
  • Scan statistics are provided on a best-effort basis and may not capture every scan

9. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by QR Code Studio and protected by intellectual property laws
  • The QR Code Studio name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks
  • You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of scan data

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Code Studio shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Actions taken by third parties scanning your QR codes

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, all your data and QR codes will be permanently deleted
  • Active QR codes will cease to function upon account termination

13. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by using the Service immediately upon subscription, you acknowledge and agree that you waive your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
